Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer with 510 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale data solutions on the Azure cloud platform. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in ETL development, PySpark, Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Total 4 to 8 years of IT development experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience on data warehouse or ETL platforms (including data mapping, ETL, data load and transformation)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as Azure engineer on Azure Cloud platform.
- Good hands-on experience in Azure data engineering as below
Experience in writing transformation logic using PYSPARK or Scala or SPARK SQL in Azure Data Bricks (ADB), Data Streaming using event Hub, Kafka - Experience in creating data flow using Azure Data factory (ADF)
- Experience working with Azure storages such as Azure Data Lake storage (ADLS), Azure SQL DB
- Good hands-on experience on writing SQL queries and Unix commands
- Exposure in working in Spark architecture
- Experience on data domain relate projects (including data injection, data transformation)
- Experience on performance tuning aspects through development changes/approach
Nice to have skill set
- Hands on experience in Azure Synapse Analytics, creating Synapse pipelines and working on Dedicated/Serverless SQL pools.
- Working experience on Hadoop Bigdata platform
- Experience on Hadoop Hive, Scoop, ODS components
- Hands on experience on any ETL tools such as Informatica/Talend/DataStage/SSIS prior to Azure experience
- Experience on enabling data through reporting platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Micro strategy)
