EASTERN EQUIPMENT ENTERPRISES
India's Leading Earth Moving Component Manufacturer
Scope of Work Recruitment Brief
Position: Sales Executive HEMM / Mining Solutions (Complex Sales) | Fixed CTC: Rs. 15Lpa to 20 Lpa
1. Purpose
EEE is seeking an experienced, senior sales professional to lead and expand institutional sales of HEMM (Heavy Earth Moving Machinery) components and spares ? including dozer undercarriage systems, hydraulic cylinders, and allied parts ? into large public-sector accounts such as Coal India Limited and its subsidiaries, NLC India Limited (Neyveli), state power generation companies, and comparable mining/PSU customers. This is a complex, relationship-driven, tender-heavy sales role, not a transactional field-sales position.
2. Key Responsibilities
Own and grow revenue from Coal India Ltd and its subsidiaries (e.g., ECL, BCCL, NCL, MCL, SECL), NLC India Ltd (Neyveli), and state power generating companies for dozer, excavator, and dumper components/spares.
Navigate GeM portal tenders, PSU procurement cycles, and government e-tendering platforms ? from bid identification through techno-commercial submission and follow-up.
Build and maintain senior-level relationships with procurement, mechanical services, and mines maintenance departments (CGM/MS&BHD/Mines-level and above).
Manage the full complex-sale cycle: multi-stakeholder buying committees, long sales cycles (6?18 months), technical evaluation stages, and price negotiation against OEM and competitor bids.
Coordinate with EEE's technical/tender desk (HEMM tender team) to prepare compliant, competitive bid documentation.
Identify and develop new PSU/state GENCO accounts beyond the current customer base.
Track and report on tender pipelines, win/loss analysis, and competitor intelligence (OEMs, import substitution players).
Represent EEE at industry events, mining/power sector exhibitions, and customer facility visits.
3. Candidate Requirements
Mandatory
Age: 32?48 years.
Minimum 3?10 years in HEMM, mining equipment, mining consumables, or capital equipment sales ? ideally with direct exposure to Coal India / NLC / state power utilities or similar PSU mining customers.
Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder, tender-based B2B/B2G sales cycles (not transactional/retail sales).
Working knowledge of government procurement ? GeM, e-tender portals, PSU purchase procedures, techno-commercial bid processes.
Existing relationships/network within Coal India subsidiaries, NLC India, or state electricity/power generation boards is a strong plus.
Comfortable with high travel and site-level engagement at mines and power plants.
Preferred
Background in dozer/excavator undercarriage, hydraulic components, or earthmoving machinery spares specifically (vs. general industrial sales).
Engineering or technical diploma/degree background (mechanical) that supports credibility in technical discussions.
Prior experience at an OEM (BEML, Komatsu, Caterpillar, L&T) or a Tier-1 spares/aftermarket supplier serving PSU mining clients.
4. Success Metrics (First 12 Months)
Revenue growth from existing Coal India / NLC accounts against a defined target.
Number of new tender opportunities identified and bid on.
Win rate on submitted tenders/quotations.
At least 2?3 new PSU/GENCO accounts opened or in active pipeline.
Quality and timeliness of relationship reporting to leadership.
