Job Title : Executive- Prod Dev (23 W)

Purpose of the Job :
1)Development support in Tire Engineering and Construction of 23 W new products to meet customer requirements.
2) Plan and execute BM activity to identify improvement opportunities.
3) Initiate development of new construction proposals based on Future requirements.
4) Execute trials with new specifications and establish them.
Major Responsibilities :
1.Conduct benchmark analysis, simulation study propose cavity.
2. Coordinate all competition study, DVP data book preparation activity in each sample submission loop QR gates.
3. Share design inputs for tread pattern mould drawing preparation.
4. Release design specification, Design pack (PAC, Design input, Material lineup, Layout MFS) for Proto-run trials.
5. Preparation of Testing plan, performance follow up on New designs Test tyres of 23 W category
6. Review of outdoor results, discuss MFS along with project lead for next Iteration.
7. Monitor product performance every quarter and initiate corrective actions if required.
8. Participate in DFMEA work on performance enhancement of released products and update lessons learnt periodically.
9. Support Value Engineering projects and maintaining product leadership.
10. Periodic scan of market new vehicle launches and update the vehicle fitment chart
11. Absorbing more knowledge in the role and proposing the training needs for future aspirations.
Knowledge (Technical Functional)
a. Basic knowledge on tyre mechanics, Tyre manufacturing Test methodology.
b. Knowledge on Quality management system
c. Tyre failures and it s causes. d. Regulatory standards (BISECEDOT etc)

Qualifications:
