About the Role We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with prior Amdocs experience to lead the design and architecture of Telecom BSS solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Telecom domain processes, TM Forum Open APIs, Cloud Architecture, and enterprise-scale system integrations. Candidates who have worked in Amdocs product development, architecture, solution design, or telecom transformation programs will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture Design end-to-end enterprise solutions for Telecom BSS/OSS ecosystems. Create and review High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents. Define architecture standards, integration patterns, and technology roadmaps. Ensure scalability, performance, security, and reliability of solutions. Telecom Domain Leadership Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Customers, and Delivery Teams. Drive architecture discussions for Customer Management, Product Catalog, Order Management, Billing, CRM, and Digital Channels. Lead TM Forum Open API adoption and integration initiatives. Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Cloud & Integration Architect cloud-native applications on AWS. Design Microservices, REST APIs, Event-Driven Architectures, and Integration Frameworks. Evaluate and recommend technologies for modernizing telecom platforms. Ensure adherence to API governance and security standards. Stakeholder Management Engage with customers and business stakeholders to understand requirements. Present architecture solutions and conduct technical workshops. Support estimation, planning, and risk assessment activities. Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership.
Required Skills
Mandatory 815 years of IT experience. Must have prior experience working with Amdocs products/projects. Strong Telecom BSS/OSS domain knowledge. Experience with TM Forum Open APIs. AWS Cloud Architecture experience. Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture. Experience designing enterprise-grade REST APIs. Knowledge of system integration and middleware solutions. Preferred Technical Background Java / Spring Boot Node.js Python Docker & Kubernetes CI/CD and DevOps Practices Event-Driven Architecture Soft Skills Excellent communication and customer-facing skills. Strong stakeholder management abilities. Experience working with global telecom customers. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Candidates Candidates currently working or previously associated with: Amdocs Ericsson Nokia Tech Mahindra Telecom Infosys Telecom Accenture Communications & Media Wipro Telecom Practice Ex-Amdocs candidates with experience in Telecom BSS, TM Forum APIs, AWS, and Solution Architecture will be given first preference. Immediate Preference Candidates who have worked as Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Lead Architect, or Senior Consultant within Amdocs Telecom projects and can independently drive customer-facing architecture discussions from requirement gathering to production deployment.
