- Plan and execute daily production activities as per the production schedule.
- Ensure on-time completion of manufacturing orders without compromising quality.
- Coordinate and monitor production activities across:
- CNC Turret Punching
- CNC Press Brake (Bending)
- Sheet Metal Fabrication
- TIG Welding
- Laser Welding
- Grinding & Surface Finishing
- Powder Coating Coordination
- Mechanical Assembly
- Electrical Wiring of Equipment
- Testing & Final Inspection
- Packing & Dispatch Readiness
- Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) and remove production bottlenecks.
- Ensure all products are manufactured as per approved drawings, BOMs, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Quality, Planning, and Dispatch teams for uninterrupted production.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
- Reduce rework, rejection, and production losses through effective process control.
- Maintain daily production reports, production status, and delivery tracking.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
- Ensure safe working practices and shop floor discipline. Role & responsibilities
Preferred candidate profile
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 8 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and equipment manufacturing.
- Experience in manufacturing Cleanroom Equipment, HVAC Equipment, Pharmaceutical Equipment, Industrial Enclosures, Electrical Panels, or Custom Fabricated Products is preferred.
- Strong understanding of fabrication drawings, assembly processes, and production workflows.
- Excellent coordination, planning, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple production activities simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work on the shop floor and lead by example.
