Role: Area Sales Manager (State Head)

Industry Type: Beverage (Brewery / Distillery)

Role & responsibilities


  • Drive and achieve assigned sales targets for the allocated territory
  • Manage and expand the Distributor / Dealer / Retailer network
  • Monitor primary and secondary sales to ensure healthy market execution
  • Lead, coach and monitor the performance of Territory Sales Executives (TSEs)
  • Ensure effective market coverage, beat planning and visibility execution
  • Implement trade schemes, pricing strategies and brand promotion activities
  • Coordinate with distributors on indenting, billing, stock movement and collections
  • Track competitor activities and share regular market intelligence
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly sales MIS reports


Preferred candidate profile


  • Graduate / MBA in Sales & Marketing (preferred)
  • 8-12 years of experience in IMFL / Liquor / Alcohol sales
  • Strong experience in Distributor handling and channel sales
  • Prior team handling experience (ASM / Territory Manager / Sr. TSE level)
  • Willingness to work in field sales with extensive market travel
  • Local market knowledge will be an added advantage
