Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and finalize audit assignments independently and/or as part of a team, with substantial experience in handling NBFC and Financial Services (FS) sector clients.
- Ensure adherence to the latest accounting and auditing standards, including Indian GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS, as applicable.
- Perform statutory audits across diverse industries while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including the Income Tax Act, GST, and other statutory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with the Audit practice team to deliver high-quality audit and assurance services to clients.
- Maintain strict adherence to firm audit methodologies, documentation standards, and engagement deliverables.
- Lead and manage audit teams, including planning, delegation, supervision, and review of work performed by interns and junior team members.
- Monitor engagement timelines, budgets, and costs to ensure efficient execution and profitability of assignments.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen client relationships while adapting to dynamic client environments and multiple work locations.
- Contribute regularly to internal knowledge-sharing platforms and firm-wide audit quality and process improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrate strong technical expertise with an in-depth understanding of auditing and accounting standards.
- Support and manage international audit engagements, working closely with global teams and stakeholders.
- Work effectively within shared service centre (SSC) models and complex multi-location business structures.
- Exhibit strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills while collaborating across different international time zones.
