Design, deploy, and manage hardware infrastructure including servers, storage devices, switches, routers, and other networking equipment. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications on servers and workstations. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement solutions to optimize network performance and reliability. Implement security measures and protocols to protect network systems from unauthorized access, viruses, and other security threats. Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and system availability. Install, configure, and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and other network security appliances. Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, and other IT staff to support application deployment and integration with network infrastructure. Provide technical support and assistance to end - users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and providing training as needed. Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to maintain accurate records and facilitate knowledge sharing. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in hardware and networking.
