Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Design Leadership: Developing and approving design layouts for Low Tension (LT) panels, including PCC (Power Control Centers), MCC (Motor Control Centers), and PLC/automation panels.
- Technical Documentation: Preparing General Arrangement (GA) drawings, Schematic Diagrams, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Customer & Project Coordination: Interacting with customers for drawing approval, coordinating with production teams to resolve design issues, and optimizing designs for cost-effectiveness.
- Compliance: Ensuring designs meet Indian Standards (IS), International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards, and project-specific specifications.
- Team Management: Supervising junior design engineers/drafters and managing project timelines.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Expertise in AutoCAD, EPLAN, and AutoCAD Electrical. Strong knowledge of LT switchgear, PLC automation, and control circuitry.
- Experience: 9+ years of experience in electrical panel design, specifically with MCC/PCC/LT systems.
- Education: B.E./B. Tech or Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
- Managerial Skills: Leadership capability, project scheduling, and strong communication skills to manage teams and customer relations.
