Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based backend applications and microservices.
- Analyze business requirements and prepare technical designs.
- Estimate, develop, review, test, and deploy applications.
- Write unit tests (90%+ coverage) and support UAT/production releases.
- Optimize application performance and collaborate in Agile teams.
Must-Have Skills
- Java 17/21, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, REST APIs, Hibernate
- Microservices architecture
- Oracle/RDBMS
- JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Unix/Shell Scripting
- Performance tuning (JMeter/JProbe)
- SonarQube/Black Duck, Jira
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and Agile experience
Good to Have
- AWS/GCP, Redis/GemFire
- Jenkins, CI/CD
- Docker, Kubernetes
- ELK Stack
- Kafka
- MongoDB/Cassandra
- Infrastructure & deployment architecture knowledge
Preferred
- BFSI/Core Banking/Payments domain experience
- Exposure to Agile development and industry best practices
