Job Title: Senior Frontend Developer
About the Role :
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Associate React.JS Developer who can contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and high-performance web applications using React.js and modern front-end technologies. The role involves creating reusable components, integrating APIs, and optimizing performance. Strong skills in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, Tailwind and UI/UX best practices are essential.
The role requires deep technical expertise in Next.js and modern web technologies, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an Agile environment and support end-to-end delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively contribute across the full software development lifecycle planning, coding, debugging, testing, and deployment.
- Support the translation of system architectures and UI/UX designs into functional, efficient, and scalable web applications.
- Develop robust, reusable, and maintainable frontend components using React.js and Next.js (or Vue.js) and modern JavaScript practices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that aligns with best practices and coding standards.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and ensure efficient data exchange between frontend and backend systems.
- Contribute to planning, debugging, and deployment phases, ensuring timely delivery and performance optimization.
- Participate in code reviews and uphold high standards for quality, performance, and security.
- Ensure responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile-first development principles are applied across projects.
- Assist in RD initiatives, staying updated with emerging technologies and contributing to innovation discussions. Provide on-call support during marquee events and critical system deployments.
- Represent Sportz Interactive in technical discussions, client meetings, and project reviews as needed.
Background and Experience
- 46 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining complex web applications using JavaScript, React.js, Next.js and jQuery.
- Strong proficiency in React.js ecosystem - Hooks, Context API, functional components, state management (Redux/MobX/Zustand).
- Exposure to Nuxt.js , Node.js and Vue.js is good to have.
- Solid understanding of application scalability, performance tuning, and maintainability.
- Experience working with cloud technologies (preferably AWS), Redis Cache and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and project management tools like JIRA.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and UI/UX best practices.
- Experience integrating social media APIs (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and working with XML/JSON data structures.
- Knowledge of mobile optimization and frameworks like jQuery Mobile is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Collaborate closely with backend developers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver seamless product experiences.
