Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage agricultural operations, including crop planning, soil preparation, irrigation management, and pest control.
- Oversee farm machinery maintenance and repair to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Develop and implement effective farming strategies to improve yields and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., procurement) to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations in the workplace.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 5-10 years of experience in agriculture or related field (farming).
- B.Sc degree in Agriculture or relevant discipline from an accredited institution.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, including crop production systems, soil science, and plant pathology.
- Proficiency in using technology for data analysis and decision-making (e.g., GPS tracking).
- Managing 3,000 coconut trees along with multiple crops is a substantial operation
- Residential quarters will be provided. The selected candidate will be required to stay there with their family.
