Role Requested: Solution Architect Role Details: We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Solution Architect, in this role, you will be responsible for delivering solution designs and architectures for key global initiatives hosted in a variety of environments considering re-use, scalability and reliability in alignment with companys mission and strategy. You will oversee and lead the successful implementation of these designs and architectures by managing expectations and risks, ensuring appropriate organizational structures, principles, tools and responsibilities are in place. You will act as a bridge between technical and business audiences during solution planning, development and deployment . In this role you will also create reliable solution plans that include cost estimates and optimized delivery approaches by working with the business, multi-disciplinary teams including our peers in Technical Solution Management and Product Costing. Key responsibilities are Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure to meet customer needs. Design, maintain and drive the implementation of detailed technical architecture blueprints in line with Solution Architecture (execution/runtime flows, service graphs, API layer, security, integration, data, logical and physical infrastructure architecture etc.) Develop infrastructure plans that balance costs, risks, and quality to support business investments. Create innovative designs that align technical infrastructure with business strategy and objectives. Collaborate with business clients to address requirements, focusing on product costs, data privacy, business continuity, and security. Define and implement reusable assets and standards, ensuring compliance across products. Apply relevant technical strategies, policies, and standards across technology programs. Contribute to architecture governance, methodologies, and compliance efforts. Assess vendor products and delivery models to assist in implementation. Provide technical leadership and advisory services across multiple projects and stakeholders. Build relationships with business, IT, and vendors to stay informed on enterprise and industry trends. Promote the adoption of emerging technologies and industry trends. Mentor others and advocate for technical quality through community engagement and events. Assist in resolving complex infrastructure architecture issues and escalated project challenges.

Ability to relate new technologies to company challenges while adhering to security standards. Effective communication of solutions and ideas to diverse stakeholders. Strong understanding of infrastructure and security architecture, including performance, scalability, reliability, and availability. Good knowledge on current cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and deployment options. Expertise in designing and developing distributed, scalable infrastructure solutions. Ideally, youll also have: Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or Mathematics 10+ years of overall IT industry experience, with 5+ years in an infrastructure architect role focused on cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, AI). Experience architecting Microsoft-centric solutions using Azure IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and AI Knowledge of cloud security controls (e.g., tenant isolation, encryption, vulnerability assessments). Managed end-to-end project lifecycles in an infrastructure architect capacity. Experience with mission-critical technology components and disaster recovery. Familiarity with multi-geography, multi-tier service design and management. Extensive experience in product cost estimation and solution proposal development. Strong business acumen and marketing communication skills. Proven ability to present ideas and concepts to varied audiences. Leadership skills with experience managing challenging stakeholders. Support experience for peer teams in infrastructure, operations, engineering, and info-security. Familiarity with AI and Machine Learning tools (e.g., Azure ML). Experience delivering projects using methodologies like SAFe Agile, Waterfall, or Iterative. Relevant Infrastructure Architecture certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Azure, TOGAF, AWS, ITIL, Cisco, (ISC), CEH, SAFe, PMI).
