Job Overview: TE Connectivity is seeking a hands-on, and highly technically skilled Enterprise AI Security Architect.

This is a strategic role focused on reviewing and securing AI systems, guiding AI COEs (Centers of Excellence) and AI application teams to align with enterprise standards articulated both in our AI security framework and the overall AI standards (fit for use, technology stacks, etc.) defined by the AI leadership teams. Security design guidance should take into consideration the risks unique to artificial intelligence and support the overall SRM (Security and Risk Management) COE with managing the risk, and communicating / collaborating with our GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) tower. It''''s a hybrid position combining traditional security architecture with emerging AI security governance and risk management. You will be a partner with Security Engineering, Infrastructure, Legal, Compliance, Business leadership and all the AI COEs to embed secure-by-design principles, influence roadmaps, and run regional architecture and compliance reviews that balance business velocity, with risk and security best practices.

Responsibilities: AI Security Architecture, Design & Review (75%) Define & maintain target-state AI security architecture, reference patterns, and security/compliance requirements Conduct security architecture/design reviews for AI systems across on-prem, cloud, and SaaS environments Collaborate with Security Engineering/SRM to align platform & application security standards and embed into SDLC Partner with AI teams to gather, document, and understand requirements Establish logging/telemetry standards and control verification Create clear, accurate documentation (designs, review outcomes, standards) in ESA repositories Technical Skills Strong understanding of AI/GenAI/Agentic AI concepts, AI agents, MCP, LLMs, and security controls Expertise in authentication, authorization, integration, data protection, model security, threat protection, and guardrails Deep knowledge of cryptography, network security, protocols, and systems Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, endpoint protection, vulnerability tools Cloud security expertise (AWS, Azure required; GCP/Ali preferred) Enterprise architecture knowledge (TOGAF) Programming/scripting (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, SQL) OS knowledge (Windows, Linux, Unix) Compliance knowledge (ISO 42001, EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, GDPR, US AI frameworks)

Must-Have: 10+ years in IT and cybersecurity with deep experience across multiple fields like security architecture and regional compliance Proven track record within enterprise security architecture and regulatory compliance programs Hands-on technical expertise with modern cloud services (security / platform / IAM / Organizational control policies) Hands-on experience with cloud hosted AI and ML building block services (AWS Bedrock, Bedrock Guardrails, Azure Foundry / Cognitive Services, SageMaker AI, S3, etc.) Expertise in IAM concepts, especially in the services built in AWS and Azure Strong grasp of ISO 27001, NIST CSF/800-53, and major regulatory regimes Ability to translate technical risk into business impact Presentation skills (technical & executive) Organized, articulate, detailed orientated Ability to multi-task, prioritize, work independently, and strong time management skills Nice-to-Have Experience in highly regulated or high-scale environments Background in threat modeling and quantitative risk Exposure to Cybersecurity, Compliance and Data Governance General knowledge of platform technologies and best practices (servers, storage, compute, networking) Certifications (preferred, not required) CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP Architecture: SABSA, TOGAF Compliance: ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor, PCI ISA/QSA Core Competencies Technical AI/Cloud Depth Risk & Compliance Acumen Engineering Mindset Influence & Communication Ownership & Delivery Success Measures / KPIs Compliance posture Risk reduction Architecture assurance DevSecOps integration Stakeholder satisfaction Tools & Platforms Cloud & Platform: Azure/AWS/GCP/AliCloud, Kubernetes, service mesh Identity & Access: Entra ID/Azure AD, AWS IAM, Delinea, Okta, Ping, PAM, Secrets mgmt.

Advanced degree a plus
