- Dimensional Variation Analysis
- Conducting DVA Studies to be conducted using RDnT software package
- Utilise existing DVA vehicle m odels or generate new local models
- Carry out DVA studies to confirm Local Alignment Measurement (LAM) tolerances for new vehicle lines
- Carry out DVA exterior functionality and system development (Front/Side/Rear/Underbody Dimensional Systems)
- Be responsible for ensuring all inputs, processes and tolerances are understood, appropriate and modelled accurately within the DVA model; communicating with key stakeholders within Product Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams as required
- Provide a summary of study results to agreed format, cascading to relevant stakeholders
- Identify major contributors and make recommendations for how results can be improved towards target
- Review and highlight any process improvements that could be implemented into the DVA process, part icularly through the implementation of automation new systems.
