The Engineer is responsible for delivering strength and Durability CAE projects as per leads guidelines. He is responsible for understanding the customer requirements in detail and deliver to his satisfaction. Very Good understanding in Strength and Durability Fundamental Experience in BIW stiffness, closures strength and stiffness, trims loadcases. Hands on Experience simulation with Abaqus, Optistruct, Nastran, solver pre / post processing Altair tools like Hypermesh, ANSA, Hyperview, Hypergraph.
This position is primarily responsible to team member delivery projects at provided scope and timeline, also meet customer specific targeted performance for OEMs/ Tier 1 and 2 suppliers. You will have responsibility for. Should be able to perform Strength and Durability projects which include
- Develop finite element (FE) models of BIW/closures/ trims components using ANSA, HM, ensuring high mesh quality and accurate representation of geometry and material properties.
- Perform linear and non-linear static, dynamic, analyses using Abaqus, Opti struct, to assess structural integrity
- Analyze simulation results and propose design modifications to improve durability performance.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate simulation results and recommendations to design teams.
- Collaborate with design engineers to implement design changes and optimize BIW/Clouser/ Trims structures for durability.
