Role Summary: The person will be placed as DELMIA Support Consultant at the customer location in PLM Operations team. The primary responsibility is to maintain the functionalities, custom solutions and interfaces deployed in 3DEXPERIENCE and other PLM applications from various capability development teams and contribute for production support activities. The PLM Operations group is responsible for the production operations of the PLM toolset predominantly the 3DExperience 2023x and is adapting the Agile methodology for its operations. In this role the person will be joining one of our teams and will be working closely with the teammates and customers. Job location is Pune, India. Dimension of Function: Server Side Technical Support for DELMIA V6 Incidents management and root cause investigations. Coordination/Communication with other departments in PLM and Business areas. Coordination with offshore team members based in India. Contacts All areas in PLM Operations group (APOs, team members, value stream leads, Scrum master etc). Other IT Departments in the Organisation. Capability development teams. End users of PLM Toolset. Area of Responsibility: Candidate will be part of the Digital Manufacturing team and as a Digital Manufacturing SME, you will primarily work on L2 production support activities. Execute Tech support responsibilities: Determine root cause of the problem (Product based, Installation, Access, Data specific, License specific, Process based etc.) and identify the right stakeholders for problem resolution or suggest/perform bypass methodologies wherever applicable, ENOVIA V6 debugging/troubleshooting, MQL/TCL queries execution for backend data correction/ issue investigation. Timely deliver answers / solutions to the customers, effective co-ordination with cross functional teams and development squads. Coordinate Technical Support activities with Tech Support Group, provide necessary inputs to Tech Support Group to reduce the lead time for issue resolution. Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution. Understanding the legacy client applications/reports and identifying right stakeholders for production issue resolution or suggest/perform bypass methodologies wherever applicable. Knowledge / Experience Essential:
- 8 - 9 years of technical support (ENOVIA V6 / server side) experience in DS suite of products of 3DEXPERIENCE V6 (DELMIA V6)
- Understanding the different Use cases of Manufacturing BOM, Bill of Process, Process Authoring, Line Balancing, Work Instructions, Tooling, Manufacturing Reporting
- Good knowledge in business process e.g. MBOM, Process Planning, Work Instructions, Factory layout planning, Resource Libraries Management etc.
- Good knowledge in MQL/TCL scripting for backend data correction/ analysis or resolution of the reported issues, backend/server side troubleshooting/ debugging skills
- Good knowledge in PLM process, various process in change management, CATIA V6 workbenches
- Should be able to resolve issues and day to day delivery timeline by own
- Experience in Configuration management in Variant, effectivity
- Experience in End to End Change management of MBOM
