Kindly note - This position will be on Fixed Term Contract (FTC) basis.


Job Role & Responsibilities:


1. Overseeing an organizations compliance with government laws and regulations both physically & on Compliance Tools of the Organization and shall act as a point of coordination between various departments to drive compliance initiatives, facilitate discussions and follow-ups to ensure timely implementation thereof, pertaining to laws such Industrial laws, Digital Personal Data Protection laws, etc.

2. Their duties include interact and co-ordinate with various stakeholders, company management and further liaise with cross-functional teams to resolve compliance-related queries, identify potential risks, implementing policies and procedures to uphold laws and regulations and monitoring the companys adherence to those policies and procedures. Assist to formulate Policies for the organization as and where needed.

3. You will be working on a wide range of Contracts, Agreements and legal documents that will involve drafting, reviewing, negotiating, creating suitable Contracts templates. You shall provide Legal advice and timely support on Business Development efforts in concluding Customer, Supplier, Procurement, Services, IT, HR, CSR contracts, by negotiating alongside the respective team. Drive best commercial result for the company while addressing key risks.

4. Tracking/Maintaining MIS and depository for executed Contracts ; the Assets; Litigation and all other supporting documents. Should be hands on MIS -Excel; PPT/Power BI; for Management Reporting and Awareness Creation for all employees; Contract Management Tool Implementation; etc.

5. Management of Litigation, mediation and dispute emanating from the Contract Act, Transfer of Property Act, Companies Act, Industrial Laws, Data Protection Laws, Intellectual Property Laws, etc., in collaboration with the internal team and collating necessary documents, preparing Synopsis of the case; support in legal research / updates and advise the team and thereafter take forward and briefing the HOD and in consultation with HOD brief the external lawyers, as per requirements of respective departments and under the Approvals of the Management. Identify, strategy and negotiate for Settlement of disputes, wherever possible.

6. Shall be responsible for Data and Brand Protection, Trademark and Logo registration-renewals-opposition, obtaining and protection of Patents and copyrights, Litigation and Investigation Support, Tracking and maintaining MIS for Litigation, IPR, etc.,

7. Ensure pro-active business-oriented legal advise, balancing legal risk against business benefits, consider the interest of organization and accordingly support legal research / updates and advise the business teams on all aspects of Law and Compliances by self-initiation to keep the business team/user teams aware of the new updates and amendments as well as suitable advise on the requisitions placed by any of the stake holder.

8. Should have strong understanding of Indian Laws, regulations and corporate governance, problem solving abilities, quality of work and attention to details with highest ethical standards, promote ethical behavior and high professional integrity.

9. Should be a Team Player with high maturity and good sense of humor. Shall represent the Legal team for all initiatives of the company and strive and achieve accolades for the Legal Team at all levels.

10. Assist in planning budgets, handle payments through SAP application, handle other applications related with departments, coordination with consultants for invoices and their reconciliation.

11. Any other support as per the requirements of the Legal and Compliance HOD and the Management team.
