Role & responsibilities:
- Lead enterprise architecture and technical solution design for AMI/Smart Metering and Utility Digital platforms.
- Architect scalable, secure, and cloud-native applications using microservices, Kubernetes, and distributed system architecture.
- Design and manage enterprise data platforms, including batch, streaming, analytical, and time-series data processing.
- Build and optimize data pipelines and orchestration workflows using Python, Apache Spark, and Apache Airflow.
- Develop API, integration, and event-driven architecture frameworks for enterprise systems.
- Drive modernization of legacy systems to containerized and cloud-native environments.
- Implement enterprise observability, logging, metadata governance, and secrets management using ELK Stack, Apache Atlas, and HashiCorp Vault.
- Define storage, security, DevOps, CI/CD, scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with business, engineering, security, DevOps, and operations teams for architecture governance and solution delivery.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical governance, HLD/LLD documentation, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor technical teams and drive innovation in cloud, data engineering, and platform architecture initiatives.
Preferred candidate profile:
- B.Tech./BE in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Telecommunication, or related discipline.
- 12+ years of IT experience with minimum 5 years in AMI/Smart Metering/Utility domain.
- Strong expertise in Enterprise Architecture, Cloud-Native Platforms, Microservices, and Distributed Systems.
- Hands-on experience in Python, Apache Spark, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, Apache Airflow, Kubernetes,.NET Core, Angular, and ELK Stack.
- Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to Kafka, Blob/Object Storage, Terraform/Ansible, Apache Atlas, HashiCorp Vault, and Zero Trust Security architecture preferred.
- Knowledge of data lakehouse architecture, real-time processing, and AI/ML platform architecture will be an added advantage.
