Job Summary:
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong Japanese language proficiency and hands-on experience in CATIA. The role requires a solid understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals, design and development skills, and the ability to work in a cross-cultural environment with Japanese stakeholders.
Role & responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CATIA.
- Create 2D drawings and 3D models as per project requirements.
- Collaborate with Japanese clients and teams for requirement understanding and delivery.
- Apply engineering principles to convert theoretical knowledge into practical solutions.
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of design outputs.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and project needs
Japanese Language Proficiency:
- Minimum JLPT N3 or N2 level preferred.
- Good communication skills in Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Understanding of Japanese work culture.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
CATIA Skills:
- Hands-on experience in CATIA for 3D modeling and drafting.
- Minimum 3+ months of practical experience.
- Exposure to assemblies, part design, and drafting
Design & Development Skills:
- Experience in mechanical design concepts.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
