Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 510 years of hands-on development experience. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP programming, debugging, and performance optimization, along with exposure to SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP programs (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms RICEF objects)
- Work on Object-Oriented ABAP (OOPs) concepts and modern ABAP (7.4/7.5 syntax)
- Develop and enhance SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms
- Build and manage interfaces (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services)
- Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
- Work closely with functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Support production issues and provide timely resolutions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Core ABAP development
- Hands-on experience with:
- Reports (ALV Reports preferred)
- Interfaces (IDoc, BAPI, RFC)
- Enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs)
- Forms (SmartForms, Adobe Forms)
- Good knowledge of Data Dictionary (DDIC)
- Experience in performance tuning and debugging
- Exposure to OOABAP
- Familiarity with integration techniques and middleware concepts
Preferred Skills
- Experience with S/4HANA ABAP (CDS Views, AMDP, OData)
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 integration
- Exposure to workflow development
- Experience in Agile development environments
