Your profile

  • You have completed a degree in marketing, business administration, industrial engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable field; a combination of technical and commercial education is a strong plus
  • Several years of professional experience in product or portfolio marketing in the energy automation, grid automation or a related B2B technology environment
  • Good understanding of the power transmission and distribution market, its customer segments (utilities, industry, infrastructure) and buying behaviors
  • Familiarity with energy automation portfolio elements such as SCADA/EMS/DMS, substation automation, protection, communication and cyber security solutions
  • Proven experience in developing value propositions, positioning, messaging and launch plans for technical products and solutions
  • Hands-on experience with marketing collateral creation (presentations, brochures, web content, videos), campaign execution and event management (trade fairs, webinars, customer days)
  • Experience with digital marketing tools, CRM systems and marketing analytics; ability to measure and report on campaign effectiveness
  • Strong storytelling, copywriting and presentation skills; ability to translate complex technical topics into clear customer benefits
  • Self-driven, well-organized team player with strong cross-functional collaboration skills
  • You have fluent English skills and you are experienced in working in intercultural teams; German language proficiency is a plus

Your responsibilities

  • Act as the bridge between R&D, product management and customers: continuously sense customer voices and market signals and feed them back into portfolio strategy, roadmaps and marketing priorities
  • Establish and run structured voice-of-customer mechanisms (customer interviews, advisory boards, feedback loops from pilots and events) and translate insights into positioning, messaging and portfolio recommendations
  • Shape and execute the portfolio marketing strategy for the Grid Automation product portfolio in alignment with portfolio management, R&D, sales and regional organizations
  • Drive the communication around pilot projects and early adopter engagements end-to-end: stakeholder communication plans, progress storytelling, success stories, reference cases and lessons-learned dissemination
  • Create and maintain high-quality marketing collateral, including presentations, brochures, one-pagers, white papers, web content, demos and reference stories
  • Conduct market, customer and competitor analyses to sharpen positioning and identify communication opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with portfolio managers, R&D, communications and external agencies to ensure consistent brand and message execution
  • Take responsibility for quality, time and cost of own work results
