This role is for an individual contributor, responsible for preparing Control protection schematics for Power transformers adhering to SIEMENS ENERGY rules, quality standards time schedule.
Your Tasks Responsibilities are as below:
You will be responsible for
Prepare check control circuit drawings for different type cooling systems (e.g. ONAN / ONAF / OFAF / ODAF) with fans, pumps for outdoor Marshalling Kiosk, Cooler control cubicles etc.
Prepare check control circuit drawings for Indoor Remote Tap changer control cubicles.
Familiar with On-load or Off-circuit Tap changer control circuits.
Able to explain wiring logics to end utilities and consultants during approval and design review process.
Understand various monitoring systems (like Bushing monitoring, Thermal monitoring devices, PD monitoring changers etc.) and associated sensors.
Prepare operating instructions of Control systems.
Support vendor and shop floor engineers during execution.
Requirement for this role:
Degree or Diploma in Electrical Electronics Engineering
At least 5-6 years (in case of Degree) or 8-9 years (in case of Diploma) in Control Engineering.
Proficiency in Control logics, auxiliary wiring, panel design.
Knowledge in E-plan AutoCAD is necessary.
Possess basic transformer knowledge and its protection circuits.
Familiar with communication protocols and user interfaces
Possess good communication, interpersonal skills, problem solving attitude willing to work in interdisciplinary team.
Able to co-operate and learn from Global factories counterparts relating to Controls schemes.
Key Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication in English is necessary.
Self-motivated to produce high quality results within the time allocated, with limited supervision
- Good experience of working with Global Engineering teams in project execution
Effective co-ordination with manufacturing, suppliers, and customer
- Experience with SAP is an added advantage.
- Familiar with national and international standards like IS, IEC, ANSI. Understanding of UL certification and NEMA standards will be a added advantage.
- Experience in dealing with export customers especially in European OR American market will get additional advantage.
