Job Summary
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Editorial Intern / Content Writer Intern to join our content team. The ideal candidate should have a flair for writing, excellent research skills, and the ability to create engaging, original, and SEO-friendly content across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Research and write high-quality, original, and engaging content for blogs, articles, websites, newsletters, and other digital platforms. Proofread, edit, and refine content to ensure clarity, accuracy, grammar, and consistency. Conduct topic research using credible sources to create informative and well-structured content. Collaborate with the editorial and marketing teams to develop content aligned with business goals. Write compelling headlines, meta descriptions, and SEO-friendly content. Ensure content follows brand guidelines and editorial standards. Assist in content planning, publishing, and maintaining editorial calendars. Stay updated with industry trends, digital marketing practices, and content strategies. Support other content and editorial projects as assigned. Eligibility & Educational Qualification Candidates pursuing or having completed any of the following are encouraged to apply: Bachelors degree in Journalism & Mass Communication (Mandatory) English Literature Media Studies Communications Content Writing Marketing Digital Marketing Public Relations Bachelor of Arts (BA) with strong writing skills Equivalent degree with demonstrated content writing ability
0 6 months of experience in content writing, editing, or editorial work (Freshers are welcome). Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong grammar, vocabulary, proofreading, and editing skills. Good research and analytical abilities. Basic understanding of SEO content writing and keyword optimization. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Creative mindset with attention to detail. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and AI-assisted writing tools is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
Basic knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms. Understanding of SEO tools and content optimization techniques.
Experience: with Canva or other basic design tools is a plus.
Familiarity with AI content tools (such as ChatGPT or similar platforms) is an advantage.
