The incumbent will be responsible for providing technical support to dealers, diagnosing vehicle issues, managing warranty claims, coordinating field service activities, and ensuring timely resolution of customer concerns. The role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on troubleshooting expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with dealers, regional service teams, and cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional customer service experience.
Key Responsibilities
Visit dealerships regularly to provide technical support and resolve service-related concerns. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues in 2W electric vehicles. Coordinate with dealers and authorized service centers for timely resolution of technical issues. Manage end-to-end warranty claim processing, validation, and documentation. Ensure accurate reporting and maintenance of warranty records and service data. Conduct root cause analysis of failed components and work closely with the Quality team to implement corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate field service activities and ensure prompt technical assistance at dealer locations. Monitor field service cases and provide immediate technical solutions to minimize vehicle downtime. Support Regional Service Managers in achieving service quality, turnaround time (TAT), and customer satisfaction targets. Handle customer escalations in coordination with dealers and ensure effective issue resolution. Provide technical guidance and product training to dealer service personnel when required. Maintain service reports, technical documentation, and field feedback for continuous product improvement. Ensure adherence to company service processes, warranty policies, and safety standards. Desired Candidate Profile: Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related discipline. 3-7 years of experience in automotive service, preferably in the 2W or Electric Vehicle industry. Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, electrical systems, and EV technology. Hands-on experience in warranty management and field service operations. Good understanding of dealer service processes and customer complaint handling. Ability to analyze technical issues and provide effective solutions. Willingness to travel extensively for dealer visits and field support. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office and service management/reporting tools.
