Responsibilities
] We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Shop Drawing Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in MEP design and shop drawing preparation. Candidates with strong expertise in HVAC Shop Drawings will be given preference. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and managing MEP shop drawings in accordance with project requirements, consultant standards, and construction schedules. [Key
Responsibilities
] Prepare detailed MEP Shop Drawings, including: HVAC VRF Piping / Ducting Layouts Chilled Water & Refrigerant Piping Layouts Equipment Installation Drawings o Coordination Drawings Builder's Work Drawings As-Built Drawings Review contract drawings, specifications, and BOQ documents. Coordinate with HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Electrical, and Architectural teams. Perform clash detection and coordination using AutoCAD. Prepare material take-offs and quantity calculations. Submit shop drawings and technical documents for consultant/client approval. Incorporate consultant comments and maintain drawing revisions. Support site engineers with technical clarifications and drawing updates. Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, local codes, and client requirements. Maintain drawing logs, material submittal logs, and document control records. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including: Air Conditioning Systems Ventilation Systems Ducting Systems Chilled Water Piping Refrigerant Piping AHU, FCU, PAC, VRF Systems Technical
Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory). Knowledge of Revit MEP and BIM Coordination (Preferred). Experience in preparing coordination drawings and as-built drawings. Good understanding of MEP construction practices and site execution. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. [Preferred
Qualifications
] Experience in Factory, Industrial, Commercial, or Clean Room Projects. Strong HVAC Shop Drawing experience will be given priority. Knowledge of BIM Coordination and Clash Detection. Experience working with consultants and clients for drawing approvals. [Required
