This role will focus on designing and developing optimized, complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views to support business intelligence, operational dashboards, and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions for reporting and analytics.
Analyze large datasets, identify performance bottlenecks, and write optimized SQL for maximum efficiency.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems and reporting layers.
Implement data transformation logic using SQL and scripting where necessary.
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on experience as a Database Developer or SQL Developer.
Strong proficiency in MySQL and PostgreSQL, with a focus on writing optimized and maintainable SQL scripts.
Proven experience building complex reports, views, and materialized views.
Experience with JSON and array handling in PostgreSQL.
Exposure to cloud databases, such as Amazon RDS.
Deep understanding of relational database concepts, data normalization, and indexing strategies.
