Role & responsibilities
- Machine Deployment & Network Expansion
- Site Feasibility & Allocation: Evaluates dealer outlets for physical space, power stabilization, and volume potential to determine high-ROI locations for machine installation.
- Installation Management: Coordinates with machine manufacturers (OEMs) and logistics partners to manage the delivery, physical setup, and initial calibration of automatic/semi-automatic tinting machines and shakers.
- Decommissioning & Relocation: Tracks low-performing assets and handles the reverse logistics of relocating underutilized machines to higher-potential counters.
- Software, G-Database & Color Management
- Fulfillment System Management: Oversees the integration and updating of tinting software at the dealer level, ensuring color databases and pricing matrices match company standards.
- Formula Architecture Updates: Coordinates with the central R&D and IT teams to roll out new tinting formulations, especially when launching new product categories (like pigmented PU or specialty finishes).
- Color Matching Accuracy: Resolves complex color-matching issues and shade variations reported by dealers or field teams by auditing machine dispensing parameters.
- Supply Chain, Colorant & Inventory Control
- Colorant Forecasting: Monitors and forecasts the consumption of universal colorants (fano/pigment pastes) across the network to prevent stockouts at retail points.
- Base Paint Alignment: Works closely with the supply chain and sales teams to ensure that matching base paints (white/clear bases) are adequately stocked alongside the machine networks to drive immediate sales.
- Purge & Waste Optimization: Establishes operational guidelines for daily machine purges to minimize colorant wastage while keeping dispensing nozzles clean.
- Technical Maintenance & Uptime (SLAs)
- Service Network Coordination: Acts as the primary point of contact for third-party maintenance engineers, ensuring break-down calls are resolved within strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Preventative Maintenance (PM): Designs and enforces monthly preventative maintenance schedules (canister cleaning, pump calibration, and valve checks) to eliminate unexpected retail downtime.
