Role Objective
Support the leadership team in driving overall group strategy, new business initiatives, and long-term growth planning across energy transition and critical minerals businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Support formulation and execution of group-level strategy and long-term growth roadmap
- Conduct market research & competitive intelligence in energy storage, lithium-ion batteries, recycling, and critical minerals
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, adjacencies, and strategic partnerships
- Build business cases, financial models, and investment decks for new initiatives
- Work on new plant expansion, international market entry, and vertical integration opportunities
- Track key industry trends in energy transition, battery ecosystem, and mineral supply chain
- Support M&A evaluation, due diligence, and integration planning
- Prepare board-level presentations and strategic review documents
- Coordinate cross-functionally with operations, finance, sales, and technology teams for strategy execution
Candidate Profile
- 24 years of experience in:
- Strategy consulting / Corporate strategy
- Energy, battery, recycling, critical minerals, EV ecosystem
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Experience in building business plans and market entry strategies
- Ability to work directly with founders and senior leadership
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
Preferred Background
- MBA from Tier-1/Tier-2 institute preferred
- Experience in energy transition, lithium-ion battery ecosystem, or metals/minerals value chain strongly preferred
- Exposure to investment banking / consulting is an added advantage
