Embedded Software Developer û D-PDU / Automotive Diagnostics Location: Pune / Bangalore (or as applicable) Experience: 4û10 Years Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a skilled Embedded Software Developer with strong expertise in C++ and Automotive Diagnostics to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of diagnostic communication software, D-PDU interfaces, and multi-bus communication solutions for next-generation automotive systems. This role offers an opportunity to work on advanced diagnostic technologies, vehicle communication protocols, and embedded platforms in a highly collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain embedded software applications using C++ Develop and enhance D-PDU (Diagnostic Protocol Data Unit) based communication interfaces and adapters Implement support for automotive communication buses including CAN, Ethernet, and FlexRay Integrate software with VCI devices, dSPACE APIs, and embedded platforms such as Linux and Raspberry Pi Develop and maintain automotive diagnostic protocol implementations including: UDS (ISO 14229) ISO-TP (ISO 15765) FR-TP Configure and manage diagnostic data using ODX, ComParams, and Logical Links Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and code reviews Collaborate with architects, testers, and cross-functional teams for integration and validation activities Participate in software development lifecycle activities including requirement analysis, implementation, and deployment Required Skills Strong hands-on experience in C++ programming (Embedded/System-Level Development) Good understanding of Automotive Diagnostics UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) D-PDU API ISO-TP Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols: CAN Ethernet FlexRay Experience working in Linux-based development environments Familiarity with software development tools and processes: Git JIRA CI/CD Pipelines Good debugging and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills Experience with dSPACE tools and VCI integration Exposure to ODX, ComParams, Diagnostic Configuration, and Logical Links Experience with multi-platform deployments such as: Embedded Linux Raspberry Pi Understanding of automotive software architecture and diagnostic communication stacks Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
