Job Description
Role Purpose: The Investment Specialist is responsible for driving investment product sales through the bank's branch network by providing financial solutions tailored to customers' investment needs. The role focuses on revenue generation, customer portfolio management, and supporting Relationship Managers in increasing investment penetration.
Key Responsibilities
Acquire and manage investment business through Kotak Bank branches.
Advise customers on investment products such as Mutual Funds, PMS, Bonds, NPS, Fixed Income products, and Insurance (as applicable).
Identify customer financial goals and recommend suitable investment solutions.
Work closely with Relationship Managers and Branch Managers to generate investment opportunities.
Conduct customer meetings, portfolio reviews, and investment awareness sessions.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets.
Ensure compliance with RBI, SEBI, AMFI, and internal bank policies.
Maintain high levels of customer service and relationship management.
Eligibility
Graduate (MBA/PGDM preferred).
38 years of experience in investment advisory, wealth management, or branch banking.
NISM V-A (Mutual Fund Distributor) certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of Mutual Funds, Fixed Income products, and financial markets.
Excellent communication, sales, and relationship management skills.
Preferred Experience
Banking or wealth management experience with HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, IDFC FIRST Bank, IndusInd Bank, or similar financial institutions.
Experience handling HNI/Priority/Affluent customers.
