Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services using Elixir and the Phoenix Framework Design and optimize real-time data synchronization across platforms to improve speed, efficiency, and reliability Improve system and database performance through caching strategies, connection pooling, and query optimization Implement and enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability tools to ensure system stability and uptime Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to design and deploy scalable solutions Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design and performance tuning Maintain high coding standards through code reviews, documentation, and testing Contribute to innovation initiatives, including open-source contributions and sharing technical insights within the team Strong hands-on experience with Elixir and the Phoenix Framework with? behaviours, Redis, ETS, dynamic supervisor implementation Strong hold on source code management using Gitlab/github Expertise in Agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD) Solid understanding of backend architecture, distributed systems, and concurrency models Experience with database optimization, caching mechanisms, and connection pooling Good understanding of API design, microservices architecture, and real-time communication protocols Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Open Telemetry (preferred) Experience working with modern backend development practices and performance optimization techniques
