Job Description- Strong skills in SQL internals: Execution plans, cardinality estimation, Memory grants, parallelism (DOP), waits latches, Locking, blocking, deadlocks, isolation levels. Experienced in designing and tuning large scale databases. Performance optimization experience using: Indexing strategies (B tree, Columnstore), Partitioning sliding window patterns, TempDB tuning and contention mitigation. Hands on with In Memory OLTP, Columnstore, batch heavy workloads. Ability to diagnose systemic issues, not just individual queries. This is not a DBA role, but a strong developer who is well versed with database performance tuning, OLTP etc
