This position focuses on building scalable data platforms on AWS, developing ETL/ELT pipelines, and working hands-on with Spark/PySpark, Python/Scala, and modern data architectures. The role also involves exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, along with opportunities to contribute to architectural decision-making. Ownership of endtoend data engineering solutions at scale Hands-on work with cutting-edge AWS services and lake house technologies Opportunity to influence architectural direction and lead technical initiatives Collaboration with a high-performing, Agile engineering team Exposure to streaming systems (Kafka/Kinesis), containerization, and data observability tools
Key Skills
WeÆre Looking For: 8+ years in Data Engineering Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services Python or Scala Spark/ PySpark Advanced SQL, OLAP, dimensional modeling, Lakehouse Airflow or similar orchestration tools Understanding of IAM, networking, encryption & cloud security Experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-dev tools Strong experience in Data Engineering (8+ years). 5+ years of hands-on expertise with AWS data services (Glue, EMR, Lambda, S3, Redshift, DynamoDB, etc.). Proficiency in Python and/or Scala. Expertise in building large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines. Strong command of SQL, including: OLAP concepts Dimensional modeling Lakehouse architectures Hands-on experience with: Spark / PySpark Airflow or similar orchestration/workflow tools REST APIs and microservices Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot in enterprise environments.
