Job Summary
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Travel Coordinator to manage all corporate travel arrangements across the organization. The role involves handling end-to-end travel logistics, including flight, train, hotel, and local transportation bookings, while ensuring cost efficiency, convenience, and adherence to company policies.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with various travel portals and booking platforms and possess excellent coordination and communication skills to work seamlessly with different departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end travel arrangements for employees, management, and business visitors.
- Book domestic and international flights through relevant airline and travel portals.
- Handle train reservations and related activities through IRCTC and other authorized platforms.
- Coordinate hotel accommodations, local transportation, airport transfers, and other travel requirements.
- Compare travel options to ensure cost-effective and efficient bookings.
- Maintain travel itineraries and communicate schedules and updates to employees.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand travel requirements and execute bookings accordingly.
- Liaise with travel vendors, hotels, airlines, and service providers for reservations, modifications, and cancellations.
- Ensure compliance with company travel policies and approval processes.
- Maintain records of travel expenses, invoices, and booking details for reporting purposes.
- Address travel-related issues, last-minute changes, and emergency requirements promptly.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 25 years of experience in corporate travel coordination, administration, or a similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of travel portals such as IRCTC, MakeMyTrip, airline websites, hotel booking platforms, and other travel management tools.
- Excellent understanding of domestic and international travel booking procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple travel requests simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
- Good negotiation skills with hotels, airlines, and travel vendors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in handling travel arrangements for a multi-location retail or corporate organization.
- Familiarity with corporate travel policies, reimbursement processes, and vendor management.
- Ability to handle urgent and last-minute travel requirements efficiently.
