Business Development Executive (Strategic Alliances UPI)



Location: Bangalore


1. Role Objective

You will be the face of Moneyview UPI for Indias largest digital merchants. Your mission is to pitch, negotiate,

and integrate Moneyview UPI as a preferred payment method on the checkout pages of top-tier apps (e.g.,Swiggy, Zomato, IRCTC, Blinkit). You arent just selling a product; you are selling a seamless user experience.


2. Key Responsibilities

  • Merchant Acquisition: Identify and build a pipeline of high-GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) merchants. Target sectors include Q-commerce, E-commerce, Telecom super apps, Food Tech, Mobility & Travel, and Gaming.
  • Checkout Placement: Negotiate for prime real estate on the merchantÆs payment page (e.g., "Top 3 UPIApps" or "Direct Intent Flow").
  • Technical Liaison: Work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to ensure smooth SDK/API integration. You must understand the difference between Intent Flow, Collect Flow, and UPI Merchant

Plug-in.

  • Commercial Negotiation: Define commercial terms, including MDR (Merchant Discount Rate)

structures, cashback sponsorships, and co-marketing budgets.

  • Post-Onboarding Growth: Monitor "Share of Checkout" (SoC). If MoneyviewÆs share drops on a partner

app, you identify why and run campaigns to bring it back up.


3. Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 2û5 years in Fintech BD, Payment Gateway (PG) sales (like Razorpay, Cashfree), or Merchant Alliances.
  • UPI Knowledge: Deep understanding of the NPCI ecosystem, UPI 2.0 features, and checkout conversion metrics.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to pitch to C-suite executives at large enterprises.
  • Data-Driven: You should be able to look at a funnel and explain why a "3% drop in success rate" is a dealbreaker.
