Python Developer
A Python Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications, APIs, automation scripts, and data-driven systems using Python.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Python
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices
- Design and implement server-side logic and business workflows
- Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL)
- Develop automation scripts and tools
- Integrate third-party services and APIs
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance
- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product teams
- Write reusable, scalable, and testable code
- Participate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum processes
- Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of applications
- Maintain technical documentation
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Experience with backend frameworks:
- Django
- Flask
- FastAPI
- Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Experience with databases:
- MySQL / PostgreSQL
- MongoDB
- Familiarity with Git and version control
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Exposure to data processing or AI/ML libraries (optional)
