Responsibilities:
1. Azure Integration Platform Engineering & Infrastructure
- Provisioning: Design and deploy Azure Integration resources (API Management, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Service Bus / Event Grid) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
Proficiency in configuring Azure Storage (Blob, File, Queue, Table)
- Networking & Security: Implement secure connectivity patterns, including VNET Integration, Private Endpoints, and Service Endpoints.
Configure Azure Key Vault for secret management and Managed Identities for secure service authentication, RBAC, Entra ID, SAS Tokens etc.
- High Availability: Design for resilience using multi-region deployments, availability zones, and disaster recovery (DR) strategies specific to integration workloads.
2. DevOps & Automation
- CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain YAML-based pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions to automate the build and deployment of integration components.
- Policy Management: Standardize API governance by implementing global and product-level policies in Azure API Management (APIM) for rate limiting, security headers, and JWT validation.
- Automated Testing: Integrate unit testing and integration testing (e.g., using Mocking tools or SpecFlow) into the deployment gates.
3. Observability & Support
- Monitoring: Develop custom dashboards using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to track interface health and transaction success rates.
- Alerting: Configure proactive alerting for message failures in Service Bus queues or latency spikes in API gateways.
- Troubleshooting: Act as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex integration failures, performing deep-dive log analysis and performance tuning.
