Role: Quality & Lab Manager | Foundry | Copper CCR Rod

UG: Any Graduate

Required Experience & Expertise:


  • Minimum 10+ years of proven experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Laboratory Operations within Copper, Foundry, or Metal Manufacturing industries.
  • Strong exposure to Foundry Operations (Ferrous & Non-Ferrous) is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in Copper CCR Rod Plant operations will be highly preferred.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • IATF standards, quality audits, QMS, compliance systems, and documentation control
    • Quality tools including SPC, CAPA, RCA, FMEA, 7 QC Tools, and Kaizen
    • Copper quality standards, copper segregation analysis, rejection control, and process improvement
    • In-process, final inspection, dimensional measurement, and customer quality requirements
    • Chemical, physical, and metallurgical testing procedures
    • Laboratory management, calibration systems, testing accuracy, and process validation

  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Spectrometer
    • Gas Analyzer
    • UTM (Universal Testing Machine)
    • Vernier Caliper
    • Screw Gauge / Micrometer
    • Precision measuring and metallurgical testing instruments

  • Proven capability to establish strong quality systems, reduce rejection and process variation, improve product quality, and successfully handle customer and certification audits.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, decision-making, audit handling, troubleshooting, and team management skills are essential.
  • Must ensure strict adherence to quality standards, laboratory discipline, testing procedures, safety norms, and continuous improvement practices.

Qualification:

  • Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical discipline.
