Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Test Engineer with strong expertise in C++, Embedded C, and Manual Testing. The candidate will be responsible for validating embedded software applications, creating test cases, executing test scenarios, and ensuring product quality across various embedded platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for embedded software products.
- Validate software developed in C++ and Embedded C environments.
- Perform Functional, Integration, System, and Regression Testing.
- Analyze requirements and prepare detailed test plans and test reports.
- Debug and identify software defects using logs and test results.
- Collaborate with development teams for issue resolution and product quality improvements.
- Participate in requirement reviews and test strategy discussions.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong programming knowledge in C++ and Embedded C.
- Experience in Manual Testing of embedded systems.
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience in Functional Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, and Regression Testing.
- Understanding of Microcontrollers, Embedded Systems, and Firmware Testing.
- Excellent debugging and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of RTOS, Embedded Linux.
- Exposure to communication protocols such as CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, TCP/IP.
- Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, etc.
- Automotive domain experience is an added advantage.
