Role Overview
We are looking for a fast, detail-oriented Freelance Video Editor to work closely with our in-house content and creative teams. The role involves editing high-volume, in-houseproduced video content across brand, social, performance, and product-led formats. The ideal candidate should be quick, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced D2C brand environment.
Key Responsibilities
Edit in-house shot videos including brand films, product videos, social media content, reels, shorts, and ads
Work on performance-driven edits for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Meta, and e-commerce
Turn around edits quickly without compromising quality
Add music, sound design, basic motion graphics, text animations, and transitions
Maintain consistency with Boults brand tone and visual style
Collaborate with internal content, design, and marketing teams
Incorporate feedback efficiently and manage multiple revisions
Tools & Software Requirements
Must be proficient in one or more of the following:
Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory)
After Effects (basic to intermediate text animations, transitions, motion elements)
DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro (good to have)
Basic understanding of sound design and color correction
Good to Have
Experience working with D2C or consumer brands
Exposure to performance marketing videos
Understanding of YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and platform-native trends
Motion graphics or basic VFX exposure
