????Role Overview

The PR Media Specialist will play a pivotal role in strengthening IPE
Global?s external visibility and positioning by proactively managing
relationships with media houses, journalists, and influencers.

The role requires a dynamic professional with
proven?media connections?and the ability to craft compelling
narratives that highlight IPE Global?s work, thought leadership, and social
impact.

Roles Responsibilities


Key Responsibilities

    • Build, nurture, and leverage strong relationships with
      journalists, editors, and media outlets (print, digital, and electronic).
    • Proactively secure high-quality media coverage, interviews,
      and features for the organization and its leadership.
    • Draft press releases, op-eds, statements, media briefs, and
      other communication material.
    • Manage media queries and act as the first point of contact
      for press and external communications.
    • Monitor media coverage and prepare regular reports on
      visibility, tone, and reach.
    • Support crisis communication management with quick and
      accurate responses.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to align media messaging
      with organizational objectives.
    • Organize press conferences, media roundtables, and other PR
      events.
    • Stay updated on sectoral trends and identify opportunities
      for thought leadership positioning.
    • Manage and update Group?s PR Media policy.

Mandatory Requirement

    • Strong, verifiable connections with media professionals
      across mainstream and sectoral outlets (business, social impact, health,
      education, and development-focused publications).

Desired Skills Qualifications

    • Bachelor?s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public
      Relations, or related field.
    • 5-8 years of relevant PR/media relations experience,
      preferably in development, consulting, or corporate communications.
    • Proven track record of securing impactful media placements.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
      (knowledge of Hindi/other regional languages will be an advantage).
    • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities,
      and deliver within tight deadlines.
    • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
