Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in the Neuro Critical Care unit, with a focus on neurological conditions
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results
- Treatment Planning:Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and medical history
- Administer medications, therapies, and interventions as required, ensuring adherence to established protocols
- Monitoring and Evaluation:Monitor and evaluate patients' conditions, including vital signs, neurological status, and response to treatment
- Adjust treatment plans accordingly and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
- Collaboration with Healthcare Teams:Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss and plan patient management strategies
- Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient history, progress notes, and treatment plans
- Provide timely and thorough reports to attending physicians and other healthcare team members
- Continuous Education:Stay current on advancements in neuro critical care through continuous education and training
- Actively participate in case reviews, journal clubs, and relevant conferences
