Exide Energy Solutions Limited is looking for Warehouse in the Manufacturing organisation to achieve companys' goal at the Devanahalli, Bangalore Location.
Job Location: Devanahalli, Bangalore
This is a 5-day, in-office role, with the 1st and last Saturdays of each month as working days.
Overview
The role is responsible for managing end-to-end chemical warehouse operations involving hazardous and regulated materials. This includes ensuring safe storage, compliant handling, accurate inventory management, and efficient material movement in line with statutory, safety, and quality standards. The role supports uninterrupted production and dispatch operations through effective warehouse planning, coordination, and adherence to SCM best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations for hazardous chemicals, including receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch.
- Ensure safe storage and handling of chemicals in compliance with MSDS, statutory regulations, and internal EHS guidelines.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and lead periodic stock audits.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Procurement, and EHS teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Lead and supervise warehouse personnel, ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures.
- Monitor inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring proper documentation, labeling, and regulatory compliance.
- Implement and monitor FIFO/FEFO practices to minimize material degradation, damage, or losses.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, safety audits, internal controls, and external inspections.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, space utilization, safety performance, and cost optimization.

Desired Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of chemical warehouse operations and SCM processes
- Hands-on experience in hazardous chemical handling and storage
- Working knowledge of FIFO/FEFO, MSDS, and chemical safety standards
- Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems and proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- 5-12 years of relevant experience in chemical warehouse or stores operations, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven hands-on experience in hazardous chemical storage, handling, and inventory control.
- Prior experience in regulated or safety-critical environments is strongly preferred.
