Job Description

  • Reporting Breakdowns and tracking resolutions across pan India sites.
  • Maintaining close records on machine performance.
  • Minimising sorter downtime with help of data analysis.
  • Assist other Departments as needed.
  • Organize and maintain locations of all vendor and OEM parts.
  • Keep spare parts cage clean and organized.
  • Must be able to work without close supervision.
  • Must track parts usage for inventory information and keep stocks at the appropriate levels.
  • Generate all new spare part inventory tags.
  • Meet with and assist outside vendors in reordering and stocking parts.
  • Perform physical inventory of stocked parts as required but not less than once a year.
  • Maintain a computerized inventory system and preventative maintenance program.
  • Raising PR for the required spares for procurement.
  • First hand working on spare part management tools.
  • Maintain and generate maintenance work orders. Notify others when parts are received.

Job Requirements

  • B. Tech/M.Tech preferably in Electronics/Instrumentation/Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial

Engineering.

  • Should be well versed with 5S, kaizen type quality principles
  • Should be passionate for automation and previous project work/exposure on automation will be preferred.
  • Above average skills in MS Excel with a knack for data analytics
  • Should be willing to travel extensively, managing projects while being on field and maintaining communication with all stakeholders.
  • Should be ready to take up field assignments during any hour of the day
  • Must have excellent presentation skills - both oral as well as written
  • Should demonstrate good collaboration skills, balancing expectations of all stakeholders.

Must-have Skills

  • Analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong bias for action- All-hands on deck and get things done attitude.
  • Data savviness- Ability to quantify even the most of ambiguous problems with relevant data

and right assumptions.

  • Ability to work seamlessly with the multiple teams/stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Prior experience on spare part management tools will be preferred.

Good-to-have Skills.

  • Knowledge of eCommerce, Retail industry, Warehouse designing, Warehouse Automation is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt in an ever-evolving environment
