Primary Skill:
- Deep expertise in OpenShift / Kubernetes cluster administration, workload scheduling, RBAC, network policies, multi-zone deployments, and cluster hardening (CIS benchmarking).
- GitOps with ArgoCD ? app-of-apps pattern, sync policies, rollback strategies, multi-environment GitOps workflows.
- Helm chart authoring and sub chart composition ? values overrides, templating best practices, chart versioning, and repository management.
- CI/CD pipeline design and implementation ? GitHub Actions or equivalent; automated build, test, and deployment workflows; secrets management.
- Bash / Python scripting ? deployment orchestration, health checks, data export/import automation, and cutover sequencing.
- Container and image management ? Docker file authoring, image optimization, OpenShift internal registry / Azure Container Registry.
- Infrastructure as Code ? GitOps-driven configuration management, environment parity across Dev, QA, and Production.
- Networking and security ? multi-zone architecture (MFZ-SL4, RSZ-SL4, ISZ-SL5, BCN-SL3), VPN/ExpressRoute, TLS, pod security policies.
- Azure cloud ? AKS / Azure OpenShift, Azure Container Registry, Microsoft Entra ID, and landing zone deployment.
Experience
- hands-on experience in OpenShift or Kubernetes production environments.
- Proven delivery of platform migration projects ? on-premises to cloud or cross-cluster migrations.
- End-to-end ownership of CI/CD pipeline design and implementation in enterprise settings.
- Demonstrated ArgoCD / GitOps implementations at production scale with multi-environment management.
- Helm chart authoring and sub chart architecture for complex, multi-component deployments.
- Experience with cluster hardening ? RBAC, pod security, network policies, and CIS security benchmarks.
- Prior experience in CMS, IoT telemetry, or time-series data platform deployments on Kubernetes preferred.
- Azure-specific OpenShift/AKS deployments including landing zone setup and ExpressRoute/VPN preferred.
- Certifications preferred: CKA / CKS, Red Hat OpenShift (EX280), Azure AZ-104 / AZ-305.
Educational Qualification:
B.E / B.Tech as Educational background.
