Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Evaluation Engineer to inspect and evaluate used vehicles. The candidate will be responsible for conducting technical inspections, identifying vehicle conditions, and preparing accurate evaluation reports to support vehicle procurement and pricing decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of used vehicles.
- Evaluate vehicle condition including:
- Engine performance
- Transmission
- Suspension
- Electrical systems
- Body & paint condition
- Interior quality
- Perform test drives to assess vehicle performance.
- Use diagnostic tools and standard checklists for technical assessment.
- Identify accidental history, repainting, or mechanical defects.
- Prepare accurate vehicle evaluation reports and upload findings into the system.
- Coordinate with procurement and operations teams for smooth vehicle acquisition.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs and quality standards.
- Maintain transparency and professionalism during customer interactions.
Technical Skills
Good understanding of:
Automobile systems and components
Engine diagnostics
Vehicle body structure
OBD/diagnostic tools
Knowledge of accidental and flood damage identification preferred.
Basic computer and reporting skills.
Candidate should know two and four wheeler driving.
Candidate should have valid two and four wheeler driving license
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Passionate about automobiles and vehicle technology
- Ability to work in field operations
- Comfortable with rotational shifts and travel within city locations
- Valid Driving License preferred
