Role & responsibilities:
1. Design and develop 3D models and assemblies for:
- Belt, roller, chain, screw, slat, and special-purpose conveyors
- Conveyor structures, frames, supports, and guarding
- Conveyor parts such as rollers, pulleys, idlers, shafts and brackets.
2. Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings with:
- GD&T, tolerances, BOMs, and material specifications
- Fabrication and machining details.
3. Customize conveyor designs based on customer layout, capacity,
speed, load, and process requirements.
4. Perform design calculations related to load capacity, belt/roller
selection, shaft sizing, and motor selection.
Preferred candidate profile: :
- Min. 5 years exp. in conveyor system OR industrial machinery design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Artcam.
- Diploma / B.Tech in mechanical.
