Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly specialized SAP Oil & Gas Consultant to join our team and support our operations within the energy sector.
- Your role is to design, implement, and support SAP solutions tailored to the unique challenges and processes of the oil and gas industry.
- You will leverage your deep knowledge of the industry's value chain, from exploration and production to refining and distribution, to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
- This is a challenging role for an expert who can bridge the gap between business needs and SAP capabilities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze and map business processes specific to the oil and gas industry (upstream, midstream, downstream) to SAP solutions.
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP modules relevant to the industry (e.g., IS-OIL, PRA, JVA).
- Provide expert functional and technical support to end-users, resolving complex issues and improving processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for system enhancements and digital transformation.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training materials and conduct user training sessions.
- Participate in or lead integration activities with other enterprise systems.
- Stay current with the latest SAP developments and industry best practices, recommending improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of SAP experience with at least 4 years specifically focused on the Oil & Gas industry.
- Deep understanding of SAP IS-OIL (Industry Solution for Oil & Gas).
- Experience with key oil and gas modules: PRA (Production and Revenue Accounting), JVA (Joint Venture Accounting), or others.
- Strong experience in SAP configuration, implementation methodologies, and project management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP Oil & Gas industry certifications.
- Experience with S/4HANA for Oil & Gas.
- Knowledge of other relevant business processes like supply chain management and logistics.
- Experience working on large-scale greenfield implementations.
