Education: MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent
Job Purpose
To manage end-to-end HR operations, oversee administrative functions, and drive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives at the site level, ensuring smooth workforce management, compliance, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Human Resources (HR)
- Manage employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, and exit formalities
- Maintain employee records, attendance, and leave management
- Support payroll inputs and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity)
- Address employee grievances and ensure positive employee relations
- Assist in performance management and learning & development initiatives
- Implement HR policies and ensure adherence at site
2. Administration
- Oversee site administration including office upkeep, housekeeping, security, transport, and canteen
- Manage vendor contracts (security, housekeeping, transport, etc.)
- Ensure availability and maintenance of office infrastructure (furniture, utilities, guest house, etc.)
- Handle travel, accommodation, and logistics for employees and visitors
- Maintain inventory and control admin-related costs
3. CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility)
- Plan and execute CSR activities in nearby communities (health camps, education support, skill development, etc.)
- Coordinate with local authorities, NGOs, and community leaders
- Monitor CSR project implementation and maintain documentation
- Track CSR budgets and ensure utilization as per company guidelines
- Prepare CSR reports and impact assessments
4. Compliance & Liaison
- Ensure compliance with labour laws such as Factories Act, 1948, Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952, and Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948
- Support audits and inspections related to HR and admin functions
- Maintain statutory registers and records
5. Stakeholder Management
- Act as a single point of contact for employees at site for HR/admin queries
- Coordinate with corporate HR, finance, and procurement teams
- Maintain good relations with local community and authorities
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent
- Experience: 58 years of experience in HR & Administration (CSR exposure preferred)
- Experience in mining / manufacturing / plant setup will be an added advantage
